Visitors may access the Boston Harbor Islands by boarding one of our park ferries or the inter-island shuttle boat. Here are the main gateways:
From Long Wharf in Boston, you may access Georges and Spectacle Island via a park ferry. One may then board the inter-island shuttle boat to Lovells, Peddocks, Grape, and Bumpkin Island.
From Quincy, you may access Georges Island via a park ferry. One may then board the inter-island shuttle boat to Lovells, Peddocks, Grape, Spectacle, and Bumpkin Island.
From Hull, you may access all the islands mentioned above via our inter-island shuttle. Please remember that the stops at Hull are less frequent than main ferry stops in Quincy and Boston.
There are four areas that are accessible by automobile:
Deer Island in Winthrop
Nut Island in Quincy
